It is common for visitors to comment on the welcoming nature of our school and I always reply that Arcadia is built upon relationships which feature respect, cooperation and acceptance. Indeed the excellent academic education offered to our students is supported by our belief that emotional and social intelligence also play an integral role in shaping our students, our future.
A real sense of ownership and responsibility has developed in our school community with parents, teachers and students communicating and working together productively for the benefit of all. Children often plan and organise school activities, fostering leadership and a sense of self-worth. Senior students carry much responsibility and are respected by their peers and younger students. As a result, students have a strong sense of belonging to a supportive, successful school and they are committed to maintaining its distinguished reputation.
