Our wonderful school library is the heart of Arcadia Public School. This centre of learning provides and promotes quality fiction and information books, developing and sustaining the enjoyment of reading for our students.
Digital resources, expertly employed, ensure that we are engaging and catering for our 21st century learners.
Through explicit teaching of the Information Process, students acquire skills to select, critically analyse and organise information, and communicate their understandings.
The library is generously supported by Arcadia P&C Association and twice yearly book fairs, ensuring that the collection is always current and comprehensive.
The NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge is promoted through the school library with many students, displaying their passion for reading, successfully completing the challenge each year of their school life at Arcadia Public School.
