Our school, also very proudly Arcadian of Aurora and Matilda, along with their horses, who competed at the NSW State Interschool Championships; a great achievement. Matilda, with her pony Bevanlee Encore/Corey; placing 11th out of 16 riders from her rider class, led and ridden class.
'It was a great experience. I went to compete at the State Interschools Equestrian event at Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Over 5 days different events were held. Matilda competed in the show riding event and I competed in the combined training event. All the horses and riders were very competitive and it was a very tough event to win.
Unfortunately my horse, Arlee, was spooked during jumping and we did not finish. We were awarded 17th place for dressage.' - Aurora
Well done APS Equestrian Team, we are proud of each of you and your horses.
